In the foyer we hope you were greeted by one of our members. From this area, you can walk up the stairs into our assembly area (sanctuary) where the adult Bible class meets and, after classes, our congregational worship happens. Please feel free to choose a seat anywhere that you would be comfortable. If you are already seated, you may move if at any time you are unable to see or hear the speaker or you prefer a different place to sit.

At the far end of the assembly hall there are two double doors. These lead into a small foyer where you will find the men's restroom on the left and the women's restroom on the right. There is a small nursery/training area for you to sit with your younger children and still be able to see and hear the goings-on in the assembly hall. This room is located on your immediate left as you go through the double doors. Through these doors there is also an exterior exit and a stairwell leading downstairs.

The main nursery is located downstairs and can be accessed either from the front foyer the back staircase. During class time, there is a cradle roll class next door to the nursery. During the worship period, the nursery is staffed by an adult. You are welcome to leave your child(ren) -- ages infant through two -- there and return to the assembly hall to participate in the worship, if you wish. Should you prefer to keep your young children in the worship area with you, you are more than welcome to do so. The nursery is offered only as a convenience!

All children's classes (ages infant through high school) take place in our educational wing downstairs. As you arrive downstairs from the main foyer, there are four classrooms to the right and they are labeled for your convenience. The cradle roll class and nursery are to the left and down the hall toward the kitchen.

We hope your visit here is enough like being at home that you decide to stay!

Amy is in the office Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 2:00pm. If you need directory assistance, updates from the "Family News" bulletin, or just a voice on the other end of the line, she's the one you can call on!

You are welcome to stop by the office at any time -- the door is always open and the coffeepot (Hazlenut decaf) is usually going!

Shepherds -- Dave Daigle, John Keesee, Mark Smith, and Ed Thoman

Working with our staff are a team of men known as shepherds. These are Christians who give spiritual insights and direction to the congregation. They look out for the spiritual needs of the congregation individually and as a group.

Being a Church of Christ says a lot. It means we intend to be just Christ's church. Though there are thousands of Churches of Christ throughout the nation and the world, we are locally owned and operated. We are just a gathering of Christians who want to do things Christ's way -- in worship, lifestyle, and relationships.

We believe passionately about Jesus. We believe that in Jesus God reveals Himself. So when we picture God, we picture him hugging, smiling, crying, laughing, sometimes hurting, and nearly always one way or another sharing His dreams of how life can be on His good planet Earth. Because of the death and resurrection of Jesus, we believe in a God who loves us enough to become one of us and die for us. We can, consequently, trust this God, and gradually we learn to trust the life he has given us. This makes an immense difference.

We are committed, in the spirit of Jesus, to stick to basics, to keep things personal and simple. We define and theologize no more than we have to. We believe life is about trusting the God who comes to earth and bleeds for us and is resurrected, and identifying with that God in baptism and the Sunday Lord's Supper or Communion.
