The Nashua church has helped support the mission work in this small church that meets in Samara, Russia. Fortunately Cathe Madden from the Nashua church has been traveling to Samara each year for the past several years and has been a tremendous support for the work there.
The church in Samara is small but it has a significant impact and a big heart for people. They have hosted for several years a summer camp, supported by Christians from all over Russia including one family in Moscow. This small but significant church, mostly middle to older women has had an impact in their community. This is a group of people who need a lot of encouragement due to isolation from others and even each other, as many have to work long hours, including Sundays, in order to survive financially.
The Nashua church teamed up with several other churches to be a part of the Dominican Republic- Manna Global Ministries (Summer 2013) to serve children and families in need of food, housing, medical attention and education. Leanne Clark and four of our teens were a part of this significant mission. Our young people were diligent in raising funds. We are proud of the work and love our teens have for one another and for the world.
